Friday 7th December saw our second annual Enterprise Week finish on a high with the children running the Christmas Fair. Throughout the week we saw visitors from different backgrounds such as a local hairdresser, dance teacher, fire fighters, personal trainer, charity worker and business owner to name just a few. Children from every class listened carefully and asked questions to develop their understanding of the world of work, business and developing aspirations. Each class was then given a £5 budget to start their own business/stall to run at the Christmas Fair. It appeared to be the teachers who were most competitive!
Thank you to all of those who were able to attend and support the event. Each class will be reviewing their profit margin and will be spending their profit on elements for their classroom.
