Positive mental health and well-being is very important to us. We have weekly PSHE lessons using Jigsaw, weekly THRIVE sessions and also weekly yoga with a trained coach; Yoga-Jo.
We always have plenty of trusted adults in school who children can talk to if they have any worries or concerns. Additionally, we have a 'worry box' which children can post into if they prefer.
We cannot promise to keep information secret but we can promise to always work to ensure the right support is available - please see the Children's Safeguarding Policy.
Children can talk to us about worries they might have including:
- things that have happened to them or someone else
- not knowing where to go when feeling scared
- missing school
- what will happen in the future
- coping with mental health.
