Tapestry

We use Tapestry to record the observations and then use them to support our ongoing assessments. These observations can then be shared with families. As parents you will be able share all the wonderful things that you do with your child at home using Tapestry.  This can be done by uploading via the website or App.

At Leiston Primary School we value the importance of  interacting, playing and observing children and therefore not all of your child's learning will be documented because we will have been spending time engaging in your child's learning.  When your child starts in Nursery or Reception at Leiston Primary School you will be given an access code to Tapestry so that you can have a insight into their learning at school and have the opportunity to share any learning and experiences from home. . At the end of Reception their learning story can be downloaded for you to keep.
