The West End comes to Leiston
Fri 26 Feb 2021During this difficult period of Lockdown our School decided to bring a little bit of West End glamour and inspiration to World Book Day next week (4th March).
Our Oracy leader; Sarah Loxley, reached out to actors from stage and screen to bring some familiar favourites into the children’s homes and demonstrate the the power of the spoken word. We have readings from the stars of Les Miserables, Oliver and Matilda as well as contributions from some of the actors from Call the Midwife, Holby City and Coronation Street! The stories range from We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers to Katy Secombe reading the book that her father wrote for her, Katy and the Nurgla.

Supporting Pupil's Mental Health
