Tigers Class visit Charles Miller Court
Mon 28 Mar 2022On World Book Day, Tiger Class were inspired by the book 'The Invisible' and created beautiful works of art. Last week they visited the residents at Charles Miller Court to share their gestures of kindness. Children and residents alike had a great afternoon together and we're looking forward to inviting some of the residents back to see us.

Celebrating the Queen's Juiblee
Tue 22 Mar 2022We were honoured to be asked by the Town Council, to plant a tree in our name, in order to mark the Queen's Jubilee. Our wonderful representatives were elected by their friends to plant this beautiful Evergreen Oak with Mrs Geater and Mrs Chadwick. They were a credit to our school and we are very proud to be given this privilege. Thank you to Leiston Town Council.

Blue and Yellow Day

Thank you to everyone who supported our 'Blue and Yellow day' we raised a grand total of £328.04p to send to the DEC Humanitarian fund. Well done team Leiston!

British Science Week
Wed 16 Mar 2022This week we celebrate British Science Week. Children were invited to wear lab coats for the week and took part in many different scientific experiments in class. Year 6 also visited Sizewell for the day to explore electricity.

Book Fair News!
Mon 14 Mar 2022Drumroll please...
The book fair raised an incredible £1698.20, which mean a £958.92 commission for school! This coupled with £857 raised by the sponsored read means that we have a total of £1815.92 to spend on books for our revised 'Reading Diet'.
